1. Begin with the key out of the ignition.

2. OPEN and UNLOCK the DRIVER’S side door. CLOSE all other doors including the trunk.

3. Within 5 seconds INSERT the key into the ignition and PULL it out TWICE.

4. CLOSE then OPEN the DRIVER’s side door TWICE.

5. Insert key INTO the ignition then REMOVE it.

6. CLOSE then OPEN the DRIVER’s side door TWICE.

7. Insert the key INTO the ignition and LEAVE it in ignition.

8. CLOSE the DRIVER’s side door.

9. Switch the ignition to ON then OFF.

10. REMOVE the key from ignition.

11. The door locks will now cycle to confirm the vehicle has successfully entered programming mode.

12. PUSH and HOLD the LOCK and UNLOCK button for 1.5 seconds on the first remote being programmed. As soon as you let go PUSH the LOCK button and HOLD it for 2 seconds.

13. The door locks will cycle to confirm successful programming of the remote. If you have any additional remotes to program repeat step 12 if you have no additional remotes proceed to step 14.

14. OPEN the DRIVER’S side door. Programming is now complete.

How to Program a Toyota Tundra Keyless Remote

The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck that was introduced in the year 2000. An optional keyless entry system is available on the Tundra. It requires the installation of a new lock kit and the programming of keyless entry remotes to operate with that specific lock system. Programming one of the keyless entry remotes requires you to follow a specific set of steps that is given in the keyless entry instruction manual.

Step 1

Insert the key in the ignition with the truck off. Unlock and open the driver’s door and close all other doors.

Step 2

Insert the key in the ignition and then pull the key out. Perform this operation twice within five seconds and do not turn the key in the ignition.

Step 3

Close and open the driver’s door twice, and then insert the key in the ignition without turning it and remove it. These operations must be performed within 40 seconds.

Step 4

Close and then open the driver’s door twice. Insert the key in the ignition and leave it there. Close the driver’s door. Turn the ignition to «ON» and then back to «OFF» and remove the key from the ignition. You must complete these operations within 40 seconds. If you have done everything correctly, within three seconds, the door locks should lock then unlock automatically; if not, start again at Step 1.

Step 5

Press the lock and unlock buttons on the new remote simultaneously for 1-1/2 seconds. Release the buttons and immediately press and hold the lock button for two seconds. Within three seconds, the locks should cycle once to show that it the procedure was successful. If they cycle twice, repeat this Step again. Once successful, repeat this Step for any other remotes you want to program.

Step 6

Open the driver’s door to exit the programming mode.

Program Toyota Tundra 2010 4D Remote with Xhorse Key Tool and Mini OBD

Here is the programming instruction of the Toyota Tundra 2010 remote key with the xhorse vvdi key tool max and vvdi mini obd tool.

Step 1. Generate wired remote
Connect Xhorse Toyota flip wired remote key board with Key Tool Max
Go to vehicle remote- Toyota, pick straight tom list, we have Tundra
all one option is the same as here, press Generate
Insert the battery, we have CR2032 battery
we insert and check frequency by pressing the magic side button
it is 315 MHz.

Step 2: Program remote
Then you go to Xhorse Mini OBD Tool app, select Immo Programming- Toyota- Select by Type-Remote system- Type 2

Turn on the ignition switch
press Lock and Unlock button for 4s
then click LOCK for 1s

Program completed, test if remote control is working

Step 3: Clone transponder

Put original key into key tool max
read transponder 4D67
Press Clone to start ID4D online calculation
Put vvdi super chip into key tool max

clone success
Then you install super chip and key board to key shell

3. Complete these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Close then open the drivers door.
B. Close then open the drivers door.
C. Insert the key into the ignition(Do NOT Turn) Pull key out.

4. Complete these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Close then open the drivers door.
B. Close then open the drivers door.
C. Insert the key into ignition and leave it in ignition.
D. Close the drivers door.
E. Turn the ignition to ON (Do NOT Start) then back to OFF.
F. Remove the key from the ignition.

5. In less then 4 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically
indicating successful entry into programming mode.
Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.

6. Complete these steps within 40 seconds.
A. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remtoe simutaneously for 1.5 seconds.
B. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons,
Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door
locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. If
the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps A and B in step 6 as the remote was
not accepted.
C. Repeat steps A and B in step 6 for each new remote.

This will program all Toyota Tundra remotes from 2000-2006 and many other universal programmable keyless entry remotes.
